Friends of Swarthmoor Hall (FOSH)
The Friends of Swarthmoor Hall, (FOSH) was launched in 2004, the Golden Jubilee of Quaker stewardship of the Hall. This was a fitting time to widen the support amongst Quakers worldwide as well as other people, who are interested in supporting the physical and spiritual activity of this special Quaker site.
FOSH offers a wonderful opportunity for people to join together, to support the life of the Hall
- as a regionally important Historic Building
- as a local and national Quaker Centre
- as an international Quaker Heritage site
The FOSH scheme supports the spiritual and economic life of the Hall, and helps create a wider sense of ownership and involvement nationally and internationally. FOSH members receive a newsletter each year and special opportunities to help Swarthmoor Hall, that can be carried out at home, in their own community or actively at the Hall.
