AIM French Classes for Adults at The Barn Café

AIM (Accelerative Integrated Methodology) is a Canadian method for languages acquisition, where students learn in a social, natural way and are able to confidently express themselves in French right from the first class. It is one of the most popular and effective language programmes used in schools in Canada and is also hugely popular in the USA, Australia, New Zealand and the Netherlands.

My name is Lynn Cook and I have been a French teacher for 38 years. Originally from Ulverston, I have worked in schools in various parts of the UK as well as Germany and Austalia. I am now a lead practitioner of this method in the UK and am making a number of French classes available for children and adults from September.

At Swarthmoor Hall, classes for adults will take place on Thursday mornings from 10:30am-12:00 pm upstairs in the Barn Café. The 12-week course, which will run from 14th September until 7th December with a break for half term, costs £120. No extra materials will be required.
