Swarthmoor Hall, the nerve centre of the Quaker movement for the first 50 years of its existence, is a particularly good place to learn about Quakers.
On Sunday 1 October and Wednesday 4 October, between 10.30 am and 4.30pm, the Old Hall will once again be open for visitors, without charge.
For those who are interested, there will be an opportunity to experience a taster Quaker Meeting for Worship, and to chat to local Friends. Why not stay a little longer to enjoy a cup of tea and a slice of cake in the Barn Cafe?
Entry free of charge
