Volunteering at Swarthmoor Hall

Volunteers are welcomed for conservation work (woodland management & wildlife monitoring, and furniture, textile & book conservation), gardening (in our gardens, grounds and orchard), history (tours, archives & research, school visits, archaeology, book conservation and textiles), and office & general support (serving teas, meeting visitors, DIY, and sewing).

We also have a residential volunteer scheme - Friends in Residence for Friends or regular attenders of Quaker meetings.
