As our Groundsperson, you’ll take responsibility for maintaining the landscapes, planting flower beds and the general upkeep of the grounds and gardens. You will maintain everything in top condition for our guests and visitors.
You will ensure that the annual grounds/site maintenance plans and activities are effectively and properly supported and delivered in a timely manner throughout the year. You will do this in accordance with the Swarthmoor site interpretation guidelines, seasonal planning, grounds/garden maintenance and development programmes.
You will support the manager in the actioning of planned and ‘ad-hoc’ maintenance around the Swarthmoor site, as may be necessary.

We are offering an attractive package to the right candidate, plus the opportunity to play a major role in the interpretation and reopening of this historic site. Our aim is for it to become one of the foremost visitor attractions in the region.
We are offering an annual salary increase, exceptional pension scheme, employee benefits, and a generous leave allowance. Only candidates eligible to work in the UK or with a valid UK work permit will be considered for the role.
