Swarthmoor Hall Update: 17 April 2020Swarthmoor Hall All Are Welcome

Friends,

We hope that you and your loved ones are healthy and safe at this time.

Over the past few weeks, we have been focused on and considering best how we can look after our people and protect jobs during this unprecedented situation.

After much reflection, Britain Yearly Meeting Trustees have taken the decision to access the Government’s Coronavirus job retention scheme and will be furloughing almost all of our team at Swarthmoor Hall, where the majority of staff have been unable to undertake their roles since we closed. We will be topping up those that are being furloughed to 100% of their salary up to the government threshold.

We value every member of our team and are clear that anyone who has been furloughed is both valued as an individual and for what they do for our organisation.

This leaves us with a small team that are working remotely, who are able to answer any queries you may have. If you have any questions about forthcoming bookings or are looking to stay with us in the future, please email us at info@swarthmoorhall.co.uk.

Can I take this opportunity to give my heartfelt thanks for all the lovely messages of support that we have been receiving, your continued support and loving words mean so much to the team and myself. We are looking forward to the time that we can open our doors and welcome you once more.

In friendship,

Paul Grey
Head of Operations, BYM
